I guess the subject says it all. I made the mistake of
having an AOL account for a time and ever since then, my
IE6 installation displays very low rez graphics and I have
exhausted my ideas of how to fix it.

I downloaded the latest drivers for my GeForce card, went
through the entire registry and removed every occurance of
AOL and waol and still no dice.

I don't even use IE as my main browser, Mozilla handles
that job rather nicely, but I do use IE for testing
purposes and would like my regular graphics back.

HELP!? Anyone?

So, since I got nary a response from anyone on here, I dug
a bit deeper and found someone with a similar problem and a
fix for it.

Turns out that IE doesn't play well with screen dpi being
set to 120 instead of 96. So if you have this problem with
jagged images in IE6, just go to your display settings, and
check that dpi setting.
