distorted playback

I just made my very first video and it looked very clear while making and
editing. When I sent it by email, it was very distorted. What did I do wrong?

To send by email it must be compressed quite a bit, so it is natural for it
too look poor, you either need to send it as a larger file, upload to a
web-site - using a larger file, use one of the file transfering companies -
using a larger file or post them a copy on cd :)
