Can anyone please tell me why my scanned document saved in wordpad is not
the same as the original one that I scanned?

If you are referring to notepad-- and scanned in a document using OCR-- it's
likely that the font used in notepad is different than the font in the
original document.
The OCR program may also set/select a font that is different from the font
in the document.

If you scanned in the document as an image (picture), it's likely that the
scanner DPI and the document size setting (if any, or perhaps cropping)
changed the default size of the document.

Scanned documents are saved in a graphic format, such as JPG, GIF,
TIFF, or BMP, etc. and not as TXT. You'll need an OCR interpreter to
save and edit it as a text document. Below is a freebie you can try unless
you already have one.
