distorsion in sound??? on A7N8X

Who knows the solution?
I do have a distorsion in the sound of my cd
I do have a A7N8X standard with nVidia sound on it.
The "window"sounds are good.

I get this also, Ive downloaded the nforce2 drivers direct from Nvidia, and
have yet to notice any stuttering/distortion. perhaps this fixed it, I
dunno. Check it out.

Hello,

I do have this distorsion, too, after installing the 3.13 driver from
nvidia.
But in my case the solution was found fast: it is my loop cable from the
tv-card to the Line-In jack.
If I disable the Lin-In in the Mixer settings, the distortion is gone.

went back to prev drivers ,seems better. was prev using the 26 mar
release.it does say on the nvidia site that
"These drivers are an interim release. There may be performance and/or
stability issues. "
no joke they are crap......
