distibution list mailing

I have created a distribution list in my contacts. when i type the name in to
To box and press ctrl+K i dont get the list there with a plus sign. I am
using outlook 2003
 
You don't get it where?
The plus sign appears once you place the DL in the To: field, not before.
 
after i place the DL in the TO: field , i pressed CTRL+K but the plus sign
does not appear, i guess outlook is not able to find my DL in Contacts

You're still not making sense. Once you have the DL in the To: field, there
is nothing else to resolve when you hit CTRL-K.
Use the Outlook Address Book to select your DL. Place it in the To: field.
What are you typing in the To: field before you try autoresolution? Are you
saying that CTRL-K fails to invoke the Outlook Address Book? Fails to
display your DL? Something else?
If you just open the Outlook Address Book, do you see your DL?

i can see the DL in my contacts, but after i press CTRL-K it gives me the
message " no suggestions. there is no autoresolution happening. what i want
to do is forward a message and in the to: field I type the DL name and press
send. then also it gives me error that there are no suggestions, outlook is
unable to recognize the DL name. But the DL is present in Contacts. If i try
to search the DL name in Address book, i am unable to find it there.

If you get "no suggestions" then autoresolution is occurring.
It would appear you did not place the DL in a Contacts Folder that is
included in your Outlook Address Book. Check the configuration of your
Outlook Address Book and make sure it includes this Contact Folder.

Thanks a lot Russ. my problem is solved.. i just added the DL as a contact in
Address Book. Thanks again.

You're still going to run into trouble. You would never need to add Contacts
to the address book interface, nor should you. In fact, there is no address
book in Outlook. The Address Book only displays the electronic addresses in
each of your Contacts Folders. All you have confirmed is that the Contacts
Folder that is displayed in your Address Book is not the same one you see in
Outlook. You need to correct the configuration of your Outlook Address Book
to make sure it is displaying all the Contacts Folders in your profile.

I added some business cards to my Outlook contacts, Can I forward all
contacts I've added to another person outlook contacts at the same time
