dissapearing charts

Opening powerpoint files created in earlier versions of
powerpoint in ppt 2003,have totally missing charts. There
will be a blank slide the chart object is no longer on
the slide.


Is this problem particular to ppt 2003?

Hello,

It sounds like there's a good chance that you are running into a known
problem which is addressed by installing the critical update for Office
2003. You can locate and install the appropriate critical update by
choosing the "Check for Updates" command from the "Help" menu when you are
connected to the internet.
