Displaying the name of a worksheet in a cell ?

I have a workbook with 18 worksheets in it.
The first worksheet is to display the contents of all the other
worksheets as a single reference so that we can more easily look for
duplication.

I would like to add a formula in the first column that is going to
display alongside all these entries the name of the worksheet that
each row has come from... there are currently nearly 1000 rows...

Hope someone follows and can help me ?

After all that, no need thanks as I've found a MUCH easier answer to
it all...
