I have several questions regarding displaying linked images in a report.

1. Records without image display the image from the previous record with an
image. How do I keep this from happening?

2. The report is to be preview only on the screen. How do I display the
report review without the blank spaces on around the report? I want to
display the report in place of a continusous form becuase a continuous form
cannot displayed linked images.

Thanks,

Include a blank image... it doesn't have to be many pixels wide or tall...
and set the link address to point to it, if the actualy address is Null.

I don't understand "blank spaces on around the report"? If you could
clarify, perhaps someone could assist.

Are you using the CanShrink/CanGrow properties? Those work in/on the Detail
Section... you pretty much have to properly size the headers and footers in
Design.

Larry,

Thanks for the reply. I want to use the report preview in place of a
continuous form to display the reoords and their linked image selected in a
category. In the report preview, the report is displayed within the
report-preview borders. There are spaces or gaps between the actual report
with the top, bottom, left, and right report-preview borders. The users get
frustrated because they have to drag the horizontal bar to have the report
displayed in the middle of the borders. I would like to display the report in
the right position so the users do not have to move the horizontal bar, they
only need to scroll up or down to see different records. Can you help?

Thanks,

I still don't understand -- what the "spaces or gaps" are nor what is
causing them. If I size my report properly when I design it, and use the
CanShrink and CanGrow properties so that controls resize themselves in use,
I don't end up with a lot of white space. Are you saying that there is white
space _outside_ the preview report image, that your report just doesn't fill
the screen? Are you maximizing the window?
