Hi,

Suppose I open a directory of graphics in eg. IrfanView. I open the
first. It is vertical. Okay. I open the next. It is on it's side so I
need to "flip" it 90%. The next one is vertical. Okay. The next is on
it's side. I need to "flip" again.

This gets very tiresome very quickly IMO. Particularly as I then need
to do that all over again when I next visit the same directory. IF I
understand things correctly I can save the "fallen over" pictures so
that they will open in future as verticals. Is that correct ? If so ;

Is there a graphics program/utility that allows one to quickly/easily
go through a directory of graphics files. "flip" where needed, and
save them that way so that next visit every picture is correct
please ?

Regards, John.

Irfanview is about the easiest there is. There's no automatic way of
doing it (AFAIK) because the graphics app has no way of knowing which way
up the image is.

Unless I've misunderstood your question, simply get the graphic to the
required orientation, and save it - you will be asked to overwite the
existing image, and the flipped one will be saved.

I've just checked it (in Irfanview), and it works

Excellent ! Just what I wanted. Will check this myself later. I was
hoping there would be an easy way to avoid constant flipping.
Thanks. :-)
