Displaying Email Addresses

I'm trying to setup Outlook 2000 to display e-mail
address instead of a person's name. I want to keep their
name listed in the contact & address book just display
their e-mail address when sending a message. Is this
possible?
 
I'm not sure if this is what you are looking for but POP3.

Sorry, just realized I didn't answer the first question.
I'm trying to display the e-mail addresses in the e-mail
that is being sent. Instead of having it show a
recipient's name, I would like it to show their e-mail
address.

Then I'm afraid we're out of luck. IMO does not permit access to the Display
Name field.

Hi,

I've read this thread with interest;

I have the opposite problem, one of my clients wants to display the contact
name and not the email address!

Currently we're seeing two formats in his Outlook 2000;

Some contacts show the email address in the email field of the contacts
windows, and some contacts are showing the contact name so when you click on
it it then displays the email address;

Is there a way to default it so that it just shows the contact name?

We're using Outlook 2000 Corporate or Workgroup

In C/W you can access the Display as field by double clicking in the email
field to produce a dialog box.
