Pardon if this is off-topic, but didn't know where to post. There is a
setting in Outlook Express that prevents mail contents from being displayed
until the subject line is double-clicked. For the life of me I can't find
it. Can someone help?

Thanks,
Cooter

It's the "Preview Pane" you're looking for. Don't do it now while viewing
newsgroups- go to your Inbox, and then click View - Layouts. In order to do
what you ask, check "show preview pane." But you know what, DO NOT do that.
The preview pane is a security risk for automatically running nasty crap
that may be embedded in email messages- stuff that you don't need to
actually double-click on in order to activate. It just runs simply by being
viewed. Do yourself a favour and leave your preview pane option UN-checked.

Regards,
Ian.
