displaying date

Can any one help me get the date as well as the tome displayed in the
system tray, using xp-pro

Try dragging the bar to double height.

Charles,

Assuming you have no problems with you machine,

* click 'Start' > 'Settings' > 'TaskBar & Start Menu'

* check 'Show the Clock > 'OK'
 
It works well if the taskbar is moved to the left hand side
and set an inch wide. I think it is a better and is easier
to use and see open tasks, they stackup and don't take as
much space.

The left side has the problem of covering the X on the
window which makes closing a little more complicated.
