Displaying date in taskbar

Does anyone know how to display the date (in addition to the time) on the
lower right hand of the taskbar? I get tired of having to run my curser over
the time to get the date. Thanks.

Unlock the taskbar and make it a notch higher i.e. 2x as high as the
default.

Make the taskbar two lines high. Or use one of the several freeware programs
available that can do this. I use and like Tclock.exe (note: *not* Tclockex,
a similar, but inferior program, in my view).
