I'm doing a backup of my data files from within my program and would like to be able to display a browse window that will allow the user to save the data where ever they wish, kind of like the Save as window in word and other programs. This should be pretty standard code but can't seem to locate it anywhere. Can anyone help

Thanks

You cannot save Tables external to Access; therefore there is no "Save
As" option. A Table can ONLY exist within a .mdb file.

To back up your database, make a copy of the .mdb file *while nobody
is using it*, outside of Access.

You may want to EXPORT the table to wherevever

Also under Tools-Office Links you can save your current table or query to
Excel or Word
