Displaying a deduction pie chart.

This one should be simple. I need to create a chart that shows the balance of a check book. The trouble that I am having now is that the amount is split in half equally.

Example: The entire chart shows that there is 1000 in the bank. When you withdrawel 999, the chart should show all but one dollar of the chart used up.
 
If the total is in E10 and the withdrawal is in D11, then in E11 enter
the formula =E10-D11

Select D11:E11 and create a pie chart.
