I recently had to install some drivers for my audigy
sound card, which normally wouldnt cause this I'm sure,
but when I restarted my comp it went downhill from there.
The screen resolution i got upon loading was way less
than even 800x600 and subsiqently when i tried to replace
it to my old setting, it was not there. On the resolution
slide that windows xp has, there are those little lines
where the optimized resolutions are and i tend to like
the one that was between 1024x768 and 1280x1024, i think
the first number was 1152, but now its not there. I've
seen this on lcd screens, where there are only 2 options
for resolution, but i have a 19" crt monitor which was
set to 1152 before. Also now whenever i click/drag or
scroll in a window, it is choppy as can be. I don't know
what is going on, could someone try to help me? thanks!

It sounds like your video card's graphics driver isn't loading properly. Try
reinstalling it (you can download a copy from your video card or computer
manufacturer's website).
