When I go to the start icon then to all programs I don't
get all the programs I have loaded on the computer. I get
three full columns but there is a fourth column which is
off screen to the right and I can't display the approx 10
programs in that column
 
The other option you have is to tick the "scroll programs" in your Start
menu properties/customize button/advanced tab. Then you scroll 1 long list.
I don't know what the Classic menu does?
You can make like a heading folder on the All programs list then put 5 - 10
items in that folder.
