Display Troubles

To any one who may hel
No too long ago I was playing Praetorians without any problems but ever since I made Updates through the Windows Site, I've ecountered problems mainly with the display. When I run the game the screen goes all weird like that ecountered when you get a new television and have to program it. Any tips would be grateful.
