I have a PC in my department that started displaying the
Windows 2000 desktop and taskbar on it's side. All icons,
menus and wording read from bottom to top rather than from
left to right. The taskbar appears vertical on the right
hand side and also reads from bottom to top. This
happened after the user of the PC dropped a book on the
left side of the keyboard. I don't know which keystroke
sequence could cause this. Has anyone heard of this
before?
Thanks for your help.

Are you saying the entired display is turned pi/2 radians? If so, it sounds
like you have a display adapter that supports one of those flat panel
monitors that can be mounted in "landscape" or "portrait" mode. Take a look
at the various icons in the system tray and/or the display properties for
your display adapter.

I'll bet he has a NVidia card and software.

That's probably best, since I can't figure out how to paypal someone without
getting charged $5. I suck at paypalling. :]
