Display Style problem Classic versus win XP

I prefer windows XP style. In Control Panel "Display","Appearance", I set
the style to Windows XP but after I shut down and reboot, it comes up
"Classic Style" and I have to go through the Control Panel again to reset to
Windows XP style. Any clues as to how to get it to come up with Windows XP
style without going through the process all over again?

Take a look under "T" at Kelly's site, below. There is extensive info on
themes, which may lead to a fix.
