I was on the internet and I signed off and then I just
shut my laptop. I went back to it and opened it up and I
saw what I usually see but it was huge and distorted so I
decided to restart. After the restart, my computer
booted normally but everything was still huge, like
somehow it reconfigured itself and the normal font should
be 10 not 18 and up. I completely shut down and waited
about 20 seconds and it came up the same way again with
this huge windows and font. I went in the control panel
and displays and clicked on the appearance tab and
applied the new settings which were the default settings
and it didnt change anything. I dont know how this
happened but I would like everything on my screen to be
smaller like it used to and I dont know how. Help Please!

Two things come to my mind

1. double check your screen resolution - 1024/768 is
small, 480*640 is big.

2. check accessibility options - start, programs menu,
accessories, accessibility

good luck

Seems like a good time to use Restore. Start \ programs \ accessories
\ system tools \ system restore. Find a recent point from before the
problem began.

You should also run a virus scan and either Ad-Aware or Spybot.
