Display Settings

I have changed a display setting on XP on a IBM laptop
and the screen is now blank. When I reboot the screen
display does not come back. I can no longer see anyting
on the screen so as I can reverse this setting. Can
anyone assist with how I can do this?

Boot in safe mode and do a system restore!

you dont have to do a system restore. what probably happened is that you
changed the resolution and/or the refresh rate to something the monitor
and/or video card does not support.

in safe mode you can change the setting to something the system can handle.
