Running XP Pro with current updates installed. My 19" monitor died and I put a 15 inch in its place. Now the display is 640x480 w/16 colors and it will not let me change it. I get: The Display Control Panel is unable to change the display settings. You may not have appropriate rights to change these settings
No matter what choice I make it always goes back to plug and play monitor with 640x480 w/16 colors. Now this monitor can do higher resolutions with 64k color. It works fine on the same machine under ME. Only XP gives me the error. Any help would be appreciated.
