display screen when closing

I installed two required updates and a number of recommeded updates yesterday including Nview. Now when I shut down my system several rows of non sensible icons appear along with the closing window. At first they appear bright and then fade. It doesn't appear to effect the system, but it is bothersome. Any suggestions?
 
Hi,

Suggestion: check if disabling Nview makes a difference or reverse any
settings you made through Nview
