We use outlook 2000 SR-1 Internet Mail only.

When writing an email message, matching contacts comes up in the "to"
field, regardless of whether it has an email address or not. Is it
possible to either:
1. have outlook only suggest matching contacts that have email
addresses? or
2. have outlook display the email address rather than the recipients
name when it finds a match?
currently, when outlook finds a "match" we don't know if it matched to
a fax number unless we check the properties of the recipient.

thanks!

Not with that version. You would have to use the full version of Outlook to
have those capabilities. IMO was a temporary "lite" version that used the
Windows Address Book, not the Outlook Address Book.

If we were to install the full version of outlook 2000, how would w
set it up so that outlook only suggests matching contacts that hav
emai
addresses or displays the email address rather than the recipient
name when it finds a match

Thank

You would have to edit the Email Display As field individually for each
contact to change how it is displayed.
