Display Properties

I have a Dell desktop running 2000 Pro. I cannot get the
display properties dialog sheet to open by right clicking
on my desktop or through the display icon in my contol
panel. Any help appriciated.

Sounds like a virus, have you checked?

OR...

If your laptop is one that is setup for accessing a network at work
(corporate, school, government, etc), they may have set up security policies
to keep you (and any user other than administrators) from being able to
access the display properties. If that's the case you may have to bribe
some in your IT department to give you access to that feature (a pizza and a
six-pack might work).
