I have two profiles in my Outlook 2002 and choose one when I start it up.
Is there a way I can get Outlook to display the Profile name, like in the
banner area, as a reminder of which profile is loaded? OE does this by
default.

Try editing the top group in the Outlook Bar to show the profile name instead of "Outlook Shortcuts."

Thank you, thank you, thank you! That is a very creative solution and will
work for me!

Right-click the group, then choose Rename Group.
