Display problems

Regardless of what display options I choose for my desktop,
restarting my computer will eliminate any of the changes I
made. So for example, if I choose for the display to be
Windows XP Silver, upon restart it will go back to the
Windows Classic "Rainy Day" look every single time. I have
no idea what's causing this, any help?

Hi Dave,

Check your Visual Effects settings. You can also opt to run the edit on
line 256 (right hand side)
