hi, i recently installed xp, and everything was fine, until then BAM! it restarted and since then i have only been able to have my display settings at 800X600 and in 16 bit colour.....
this colour setting is horrible, as i cant see anything clearly, and i am wondering how this can be changed
my hardware is a P3 700 mhrz, 256 megs ram, 16meg graphics card, pretty old stuff, but compatible supposedly
i have tried updating the drivers for moniter + adapter, ive tried most everything i can think of... the one thing i did find out is that my memory isnt working perfectly.. could that be the problem?
any suggestions would be awesom
thanks for your help!

There is a compatibility checker available frm the MS XP site, fraid I dont
have url.
If there is a prob with yr mem, then almost anything is possible and
probable

Sounds like a video card/driver problem. Go to run > dxdiag > run video
test. Jym
