I've just upgraded from Windows ME to XP, and there's
something wrong with my display. The image on the left
side of the screen cuts off, and I have about an inch of
black space on the right side.

How to fix? Please e-mail any suggestions . . .

First thing to try ... the centering control on the monitor. Check the
documentation.

Hi, Kevin.

WinXP Setup should have detected your graphics card and monitor, but
sometimes it gets it wrong. WinME drivers most likely will not work with
WinXP. You may need to visit the website of the hardware maker to find
WinXP drivers for your specific model of display adapter.

Right-click on a blank area on your Desktop, click Properties, then
Settings, then Advanced. See if it has properly recognized your hardware.
If that seems to be correct, then see if some of the other Settings will fix
your problem.

If you need more help, please tell us the make and model of your display
hardware.
