I have a Dell laptop which was in hybernation mode with the lid down. When I
opened the lid the screen the screen activated but seemed to do strange
things like display black lines across the top and bottom. When I tried to
change the display, the whole desktop rotated 90 degrees and is now sideways.
Can anyone advise how to get it back to normal? I have tried shutting down
and starting up again but there is no change. Do I need to re-install the
video drivers?

Help Please (and thanks)!

You could try CTRL+ALT+Up arrow, this works on some machines, otherwise
there should be a setting in the Display Properties Control Panel
under Settings - Advanced that will change this.
