Hello !

I have upgraded my system from W98/Office 2k to WXP/Office 2k3 on a new disk, and I have imported my old pst file to the new disk. The problem I am facing is that the contacts sub-folders don't appear under their parent folders, but are displayed at the same level as their parent folders in the display window, although they are recognized as sub-folders when for example adding a new contact. Is there a way to correct this display (the same thing happens when opening the address book) ?

Thks in advance

That's why we keep telling everyone NOT to import a PST.
Just create a new Profile and configure it to use your old PST. Don't import
it.

hello,
I have try to configure the old .pst but the contacts sub-folders aren't indent ! I think it's a display problem but how to configure it correctly?

thanks in advance
good bye

Why do you think the subfolder needs to be indented? It doesn't. What are
you not able to configure?

I have many subfolders and it's not easy to find a sub-folder in particular with my actual configuration! I seek has to configure the view of the sub-folders with indent for more practicity...

Move them to the Folder under which you want them to be indented.

It does work in Outlook 2003.
That's why I asked you to explain more clearly what you did.

I specify you that in the file of the messages that works very well!
Why not in the contacts folders? It is a bug? Are there a patch?
thanks a lot

I'am suprised because it's work in the previous version (outlook 2k).
Why it isn't possible in outlook 2k3 ?
If i create a new folder the problem is the same!

Hi Russ,

I face the same problem: I would like to have my contacts organized the
same way as I have had them in Outlook 2002, i.e. in the "tree" with folders
and subfolders - how to do it?
Thanks for help, Marek.
