display memory?

i am trying to install lord of the rings battle for middle earth II the
required "display memory" is 64.0 i have 32.0 how do i fix this problem, i am
not a novice i have tried safe mode options and multiple driver updates if
you are only suggesting please be very knowledgable.

You cannot upgrade display memory. Try it with what you have. If it won't
install or won't run well enough to play, you'll have to replace your video
card. Years ago you add more memory but that was aways back. What have you
got video card wise? A 64MB card should be pretty cheap.

You need to replace your video card with one that meets the game's
system requirements. Make sure your processor and amount of RAM also
meet the game's system requirements.

If you have an onboard card, you may be able to increase the RAM
dedicated to the graphics card in the BIOS. Otherwise, like already
stated, you'll probably need a better card.

Although that's often true, it should be noted that the cost of doing this
is decreasing the amount of RAM Windows gets to see and use. Depending on
how much RAM you have, that might negatively affect performance.

Agreed.
 
I do beg to differ on the "i am not a novice" statement. Don't take it
personally, but anyone that tried to increase video ram with a driver
upgrade is obviously a newbie, we all have to start somewhere, being a
newbie is nothing to be ashamed of :)
