I rested a book on my keyboard today which must have
pushed a certain combination of keys and now everything
on my screen has flipped around 180 degrees. Even after
re-booting, it is still all upside down. How can I reset
to the correct way up? This is so frustrating and it has
also affected my mouse, ie. when I move mouse to the
left, the pointer on the screen moves to the right. Move
mouse up, pointer moves down etc. Cheers!

First, open Control Panel, open Display, go to the Settings tab, click
advanced, look for a selection on the various tabs for rotating the display.
If you find nothing check the documentation for your graphics card as well
as for your monitor to see if perhaps the monitor has a setting that can
rotate the display. In either case, if you find such a setting use it to
rotate the display in its normal position.

If you have no such setting, you may have a virus but I tend to think it's a
setting for your monitor or graphics card.

Michael, you're a computer angel. Thank you. You
pointed me to the right place and now I can read the
screen correct way up (instead of having all that blood
run to my head trying to read it while upside down - ha,
ha!!) Cheers!

LOL, You're welcome. At least now you no longer have to stand on your head
to read your computer monitor...though sometimes our computers seem to
expect us to stand on our heads to make them function as we would like.:-)
