It depends on what games you are trying to play. I suspect you have an
older and/or onboard video card which may not be capable of playing the
games. Without more details from you, it isn't possible to be more
specific. It can be very hard for a non-technical person to know what
to include in a post to a tech support newsgroup. Here is a link that
will help you with that:

To find out what hardware is in your computer:

1. Read any documentation you got when you bought the computer.
2. If the computer is OEM, go to the OEM's website for your specific
model machine and look at the specs (you'll be there to get the drivers
anyway)
3. Download, install and run a free system inventory program like Belarc
Advisor. The older Aida32 is good for this, too.

First, please do not type in all caps. It is considered shouting and
rude and more importantly, will limit the number of responses you get.

I do not provide email support to the newsgroups. You are looking for
the display adapter information. If you are unsure what that is by
using Belarc, do this and post the result in this thread:

Right-click on an empty area of the Desktop. You will get a menu with
Properties as the last entry. Left-click on Properties and you will get
the Display applet. Left-click on the Settings tab at the top.
Left-click on the Advanced button. Left-click on the Adapter tab. Write
down the Adapter type and post it in this thread. For ex., my adapter
type says: NVIDIA GeForce FX 5700 Ultra. Yours will probably say
something about SiS. After you have written down the adapter name, you
can OK or Cancel out of the Display boxes.

Along with the adapter information, include the names of the games you
are trying to play.

OK, it sounds like you've got onboard video, but I would think that
video chipset would be able to play those games. Things to do to
troubleshoot, trying one thing at a time and testing after each change:

1. Upgrade the video drivers. Get the drivers from:

a. The motherboard mftr.'s website if hardware is onboard; OR
b. The OEM's website for your specific machine if you have an OEM
computer (HP, Dell, Sony, etc.).

Read the installation instructions on the website where you get the
drivers.

2. Make sure you have the latest version of Sun Java. You can uninstall
older versions from Add/Remove Programs. Get the latest version here:
http://www.java.com/en/download/index.jsp

3. Check on Real Arcade's website for any system requirements and tech
support for their games.

4. If you still aren't able to fix this, take the machine to a
professional computer repair shop (not your local version of
BigStoreUSA) and have them take care of it for you.
