Dell Dimension XPS T450 BIOS Version A04
processor 450 MHz 288 RAM
This is my problem-- When I try to play a CD game
I get CTU: "Marine sharpshooter ERROR
couldn`t set Emulation Mode"
I have searched till I`m searched plumb out, disgusted,
and completly beaten for a site address to maybe get a
BIOS update or in some way remendy this problem. Can`t go
to any site without them trying to sell me some kinda
tool or program utility.I aint buying nothing !!! :+))
unless I need a new graphics card or something like that.
All my system sounds play,CD plays music and everything
in device manager is working properly with no
conflicts. What pray tell is wrong with this machine???
Feel free to EMAIL me with any suggestions or tips. I
give up...
Thanks for your time an effort
Alvin
PS
I have a Velocity 128 video card

Alvin,
The Velocity 128 video card does not support D3D in windows XP. The
system requirements of the game Show you need a DX8 Compatible Video
Adapter, unfortunately your video card does not meet this requirement.
Please try upgrading to a Geforce or Radeon based adapter and you should not
have a problem. Good Luck Lance

Minimum System Requirements for Marine Sharpshooter:
» Windows 95/98/ME/XP
» Pentium II/300 MHz. or equivalent processor
» 64 MB RAM
» 500 MB Hard Disk Space
» SVGA, high-color (16-bit)
» 16-bit DirectX 8 compatible sound card
» 8 MB DirectX 8 compatible video accelerator (capable of
multi-texturing)
» DirectX 8.0a or higher (included on CD)
