I have Disneys classic video games for Windows 95 and now they don't work in Windows XP. I have tried to use the programme compatability wizard, but it doesn't help. The error messages are "The instruction at 0040cd67 referenced memory ar ffffffff. The memory could not be read form" and " Can't open epfs-file". Does anybody know, is there any possibility to make programmes to work?

Have you tried installing using Compatibility Mode? I've run Disney's The
Lion King, which didn't run well on Win95, by putting the CD in the drive,
then going to Start/Run/Browse and locating the install.exe or setup.exe
file on the root of the CD itself.

You can then right-click that, select Properties and do the Compatibility
settings for the installation itself, so the games think they're going on
the operating system for which they were written. After the install, use
Compatibility Mode again to double-check the settings on the icon you're
going to use to launch the game. Pay close attention to the 640x480 screen
size, number of colors and also put a check mark in the box to disable
themes while the game is running. This is only for that particular game,
and not your entire system.

Thank you Chris for your answer, but unfortunately it doesn't help. The installation works well, but when I try to start the program, the message "Cant open epfs file" appears and after clicking OK, program ends. If I try to run the lionw.exe itself, the message "the instruction at 0040cd67 referenced memory at ffffffff. The memory could not to be read from" appears.
