diskspace problem

Hello,

Something strange. I have an 80gig hard drive running windows xp pro. The
system is connected to a domain and a user drive is setup when you log into
the network. I have two problems that are using up my disk space on the
local system.
1) the user dirve gets synced with a local copy. I turned off the sync
options but they keep getting turned back on. There are large files on this
drive and I don't want a seconed copy on the local dirve.
2) I looked into the local settings dir in c:\Documents and
Settings\user\Local Settings and left click into properties and the dis usage
is 20gb there are no files in this folder just sub folders that contain only
4gig of data. 16gig are reported used over what the sub dirs use. I turned
on look for hidden and system folders and nothing was shown any idea?

Thanks that led me in the right direction. I now have the offline files
turned off.
I still have the problem with the local settings dir for a user that shows
16gig of used space with no file showing.
