Disks wont autoplay anymore!!

Greg

For some reason my computer stopped opening Media Player
and playing the CD when inserted into the drive like it
used to do. I have uninstalle the Media Player and
reinstalled it again but to no avail. I can play the disk
if I open up the MP and play from the listed drive that
the disk is in, but wont play on it's own. Come to think
about it DVDs stopped autoplaying also. What's up whith
this? If anybody out there can help that would be really
cool!!
Thanks in advance :=)

Get why autoplay became diabled ? i do not know, for example some CD-RW
software turns it off to avoid some early Win32 bug.

Turn it on again ?
ntFAQ.com describes direct registry editing.
there are also tools like X-Setup from xtq.com or TweakUI from
Microsoft.com
