Hi, anyone know whether this is possible? To have a
diskless network connection to a server and manually run a
batch file from that server. Tried PXE but seems only for
OS remote installation. Thanks.

It is possible - basically, build a DOS or Linux (other OS possible)
boot image from a floppy disk. The floppy disk is typically a DOS
network boot disk, perhaps with a MS TCP/IP stack for MS network
connectivity, or a packet driver if less is required (Ghost).

If using RIS, try our free RIS Menu editor to convert an existing DOS
network boot floppy and use it as menu selectable boot image under
RIS.
