Disk Write Erron

Occasionally, I will get a blue screen informing me of a disk write error. I
have used Disk Doctor and Scandisk to check the disk surface and indeed,
there are bad blocks. Now I can't run a defrag and get errors. Is there any
way to fix this without buying a new drive?

Your drive is failing. If it is under 3 years, you might be able to get an
RMA. You will have to replace it soon. Start saving. Drives are getting
cheaper ;-)

Crap I was afraid of that. It is an old hard drive, I guess it's just
time...

Agreed. If you have anything on it you can't afford to lose get a copy now!
