Usually if a tool suggests something then it is a good idea to find out what it is all about. You did the right thing Wes contrary to what Karen has to say. Disk write caching can help improve performance. go>start\my computer and right click on your main drive(usually C and then click properties then the hardware tab and then click you hard drive to highlight it(usually the first listing) then click the propeties button down near the bottom right then click the policies tab and put a check mark in "enable write caching on the disk". If you go into your help and support center and enter "Disk Write Caching" and click the arrow it will take you to a good article from Microsoft as to the why and where of disk write caching. It will be one of the 15 choices that comes up at the bottom of the left column. Click the bar at the bottom and the 15 choices will be displayed then click the #1 choice and have fun. Good luck.
