What are "the normal $NT folders for uninstalls in
the WINNT dir."?????

Can I delete these?

We're running the windows updates on a regular basis but
running out of disk space.

Tnx,

Glenn

Hi Glenn

Those Folders are the Files needed to uninstall Hotfixes and Service Packs.
If you are sure that you will never need to uninstall the respective Hotfix
or Service Pack (see the Microsoft Knowledge Base Article Numbers on the
Folders' Names), then you can delete them. Afterwards you will not be able
to remove and of those Hotfixes/SP.
You can safely delete them, its not recommended, though - especially
nowadays, with HDD space getting cheaper and cheaper.
Before deleting I suggest that you see how much HDD space you can free using
the "Disk Cleanup" Utility. To use this Utility do this:
Goto START->PROGRAMS->ACCESOIRES->SYSTEM TOOLS and there open the Disk
Cleanup. After that, see how much space you were able to free and
re-consider your decision.

Hope this helps. Regards,

Fabio
