Hi,

I am looking for a live/bootable CD/floppy that will allow me to boot
from it, clone my system partition to another partition, reformat it
with non-default parameters (I want cluster size to be 8K instead of
default 4K), and then restore the cloned stuff from the other
partition. Is this possible or can this only be achieved with a new
install??

Thanks

Kiran

Try BootIt NG.

1) Visit http://www.bootitng.com and download BootIt NG. Unzip the file, and
execute BOOTITNG.EXE to create the bootable floppy (accept the defaults) or
CD, your choice.

2) Boot the floppy/CD. When the Welcome to Setup screen appears, select
Cancel, follow the prompts, and you will be taken to the Partition Manager.
Should be pretty much self-evident from there.

Hi,

BartPE + XPE Plugin, XPE or maybe UBCD4WIN with Drive Snapshot (or
GHOST32.EXE if you can find it).
