Thanks Dave. I already installed w2k and both partitions
are NTFS. Is there a way to merge the 2 as one?

You will either have to start over, delete partition/format etc, or use a
third party tool. eg Partition Magic.

Either delete the second partition and use the article or use Partition
Magic.

Use Partion magic, it will show both drives(partions)
right click on the one you want to delete, merge and
format itwith the same file system as the drive to merge
into or just delete it. Then right on the unallocated or
extended(under main drive) and use merge option. when you
click on the main drive it will show the size of the drive
at the top, you can grab and drag the handle to the right
and it will guide you thru resizing that drive. If you
don,t have Partion Magic use f- disk and deleete the
logical drives in the extended partion, then delete the
extended partion. You can add that to the active partion.
Hope this helps.

This cant be done. You would need to recreate the partition as one large
drive.
