What is the max number of disk partitions you can setup
under the FAT32 file system in Win XP Pro. The "Start
Here" manual says, "A hard disk can contain up to four
partitions.", but doesn't say whether that applies to
NTFS, FAT32 or both.

There is a limit of four primary partitions on a hard drive but I don't
believe there is a limit on logical drives. Logical drives are created on
extended partitions. Primary partitions are the active partitions on which
operating systems are installed.

But eventually you run out of alphabet.

ROFLOL, yes, in fact as hard drives have increased in size, this issue has
been raised quite often, especially in the last year or so.
