Disk or Network Error

I have (3) users on the same database with (2) users using a different menu
than the administrator menu.
Using Access 2002 Service Pack 3 with database in 2002 format exept for
administartor menu, it is 2000 format.
and the (2) user menus are mapped to the network drive where the database
resides.
The database can be idle and the error message pops up.
All front & back ends have been compiled and show no errors.
Suggestions?

Check each user PC has a valid setting for the TMP and TEMP environment
variables.
