HI-
I'm working on a network where we would like to be able to automate the
running of the Disk Cleanup tool.
I'd like to include it in the login script -.bat file - but have not been
successful in getting it to run silently. It will run using cleanmgr.exe -
but I can only get it to open the Disk Cleanup window. We do not want users
to have to make those choices..
We are particularily concerned with Temp IE files and Tempory program files.
I've also tried using the Scheduled Tasks - but that runs per user - and our
users float. Or.. if I had a Scheduled task - is there a way to trigger
that in the login script?? However - even with the schuduler - the user
logging in gets the windows and has to procede. We want to avaid that.
Any ideas? Or anyone have another method for doing this?
THANK YOU SO MUCH in advance - for any ideas for may share!!!!!
