Disk Drive

I am trying to connect a mass storage disk drive. My friend had it working
on their computer but its now say that the music cannot be found or played.
Does anyone have any advice?..It says there is no drivers for the device
also. Do I need to install any type of driver for it?

If its plug and play USB then in theory no.

Is there a specific error ùessage ? If so what ?

What make is it ?
