If this is a CD/DVD-ROM drive, check the CD area is Control Panel to select
the options you need to get the behavior you expect. These settings can get
a little tricky until you become accustomed to using them. You may benefit
from reading the instructions about using these options in Windows Help and
Support feature found under Start. Launch the feature and search on sound,
or on anything you want to know. On the other hand, you may have a problem
apart from that discussed above. I have no way of knowing.
